Try new studs first, lots of times a combination of stud wear and hole wear will let the studs slip.

If new studs seem to hold, try Loc-tite on the threads. The gap-filling variety should help immensly.

I'm sure you have enough material to tap the holes out for helicoils and probably enough to go to the next bolt size. Helicoils let you use the same size stud.
