The 2 point fast hitch pitman type mower with the axle mounting bracket that we have was purchased with a Super C tractor my wife and I bought from an elderly man who bought the rig 2nd hand 35 years ago. He cautioned us to be careful because he broke an axle housing with this setup several years earlier. Shortly after that I found a balanced head #100 2 point mower that does not use the axle bracket. It is a much smoother running machine. I have retired the pitman type mower.
