Hi, Moose, know what you mean about old age... Thanks for the tip, I have problems with two alternators I installed, one, a WFourklift, [spellings OK, I built it, so I can call it what I want! ";^) }, the other is on a 180 Lincoln welder. Realy suspect the pulleys are too big to start the initial charge, unless there is something else that I have done stupid, have the same ones on two other tractors and they work just fine, but the rpms are substantialy higher.
