Loader for Super A or 100

I can buy a loader for under $500 for my '56 Farmall 100. The owner says it's an IH accessory or an aftermarket accessory. It is red, heavy and old. (PTO driven pump and round tank are one unit)
Are these things any good?
This is a front end loader with lots of "farmer's welds" on it.

Appreciate the expertise on this website.
