The WD9 had a 350 cu in 4 cyl engine and the MM Gvi
had 504 cu in 6 cyl engine. The Gvi was a lot newer and somewhat bigger and heavier so I would say that if they both were stock, the WD9 would have a disadvantage to the Gvi. An IH 660 would be closer but still had a smaller engine. An IH
806 wheatland would probably be comparable in age and size to a Gvi.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
