Neither one of those numbers jives as a serial number for a '48 Farmall. I'd suggest you go take a look for yourself. On the larger tractors, the S/N plate is on the bellhousing, left side as seated on tractor. On the C, it's on the right side of the seat support/toolbox. On the A/B it's on the left seat support (for the '48 model anyway). On the Cub, it's on the steering box on the right side. Left and right side on all tractors is as from the seat of the tractor. In any event, $350.00 sounds like a great price, especially if it will run. Just be sure to check for a stuck engine! Good luck, Phil Who was born and raised in Alabama
