With help from this discussion board I have just replaced the brake bands on my "H". If you can pull off the brake cover, you can decide if there is useful lining left. If not, you can get new linings or linings plus bands from your IH dealer. If the lining is covered with oil, you'll also need to replace the oil seal on the shaft that comes out of the differential......that was the most difficult thing for me.....didn't want to come loose. I will be glad to try to help, altho there are more experienced people available at this site. Good lu
