Jeff - The type (6 or 12 volt) and condition of the generator/regulator will have no effect on whether the tractor will start. So forget about those for now. Some questions: Does your tractor crank? If it cranks, is there fire at the plugs? If it cranks and there's fire but no start, that says the distributor timing is off (presuming of course there is fuel). Post back what is (or is not) happening and we'll help if we can...
