If You've got 110V power to the garage, run an electric fence around the stuff You want to protect. Someone breaks in and touches the fence they may not come back! Pulling the distributor rotor out of the tractor or the coil wire is enough to disable it. Just leaves a dead battery if They try to start it. You don't really want to hurt the culprits, just make it so they never want to come back. A few $$$ worth of padlocks and fence panels over the windows will make it hard enough for them to look elsewhere.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
