the small line is the pressure the big line is the return sounds like you have the lines reversed and are running the char-lynn on the return side get hold of a local hydraulic supplier and he should be able to get the adress of the nearest char-lynn dist lots of the time they are listed as FLUID POWER OF then what ever state you are in if you cant find one local I can get you the local adress
