The Cub pull-off sounds like a lot of fun! I don't know if there were any high-compression pistons available for the Cub, but you might consider installing pistons from a later model Cub(like a 154 or 184 Low-boy). They used the same engine. The only other thing I can think of it bumping up the maximum goverened RPM. I don't know anything about governors, so I don't know if it can be done on a Cub. Remember, this is a 60-cubic inch engine designed for relatively low RPM use.
