That A is a slow speed engine and the quality of the aftermarket parts are just as good so you should never have a problem. I rebuilt my A about 15 years ago and it runs like a top still today and that is even after it went under the 1993 flood. I puchased my parts from an Automobile Engine Rebuilers Supply house. It was over half the price of Case IH.
