Thanks for the tips. After replacing the missing spring under the range cover, I test drove it before I put the sheet metal back on. I was watching the reverse linkage (several times)when reverse faded out, and could not detect any movement. A broken fork makes sence and would explain the loud "pop" the first time I had this problem. Can the fork be replaced through the inspection plate or will I have to separate the tractor?
