As a general rule, the harder and hotter you work the tractor, the colder the plugs. I have used D15s with good success even in light duty applications, D21s are better for oil burners and light duty. I think everyone agrees that with Champs, you just about have to go with D21s...for some reason the colder plugs foul and sometimes don't work well for no aparent reason.
