Thanks for the suggestions guys. I finally figured it out today. The bowl gasket was not cut out for a vent that is supposed to let air out of the bowl. Because of this the bowl would not fill up with enough gas to raise the float to shut off fuel flow. I had the nipple/plastic tubing rigged up to show fuel level but it was not accurate due to the head pressure and lack of a vent in the bowl.....does all that make sense? The bottom line is the gasket is a very poor design. A bit of work with the exacto knife to allow the vent to work and we are now in business with a sweet running Super C. Thanks again.
