I just wanted to add a few things I may have missed, if you have a magneto that uses the geared rotor, then you have to make sure that it is pointing to #1 cly terminal when piston 1 is at TDC. Remember that rotor turns from 2 to 1 (firing order 1342,1342).Rotate the rotor on the gear til you get it lined up. Then play with rotaing the whole mag body for retard/advance.
