Bill, Check the adjustment on the radiator support rod that runs above the engine from the back of the upper radiator support bact to the gauge support post. If that rod adjustment is out of whack, you'll experience the wide gap in the hood to grille mesh. You can shorten the rod adjustment to close the gap.//FB
