I can't believe some one below would recomend leaveing old oil in an engine over the winter to save on oil cost!! Guess his equipment isn't worth much to him!!! In all my equipment i change the oil & filt. at 100 hours or fall, what ever comes first. I then change it again in the fall when i'm done for the season, "if" i put more than 100 hours on it in a season. I all so start my tractors from time to time on a warm winter day, and warm them up good before shutting them off. It's a huge mistake to wait untill spring to change your oil! Robert
