I have three H's. One has mag, one has horizontal distributor, and one has verticle distributor. I think all three are fairly common to see on the letter series tractors. What was original from factory and for what years I couldn't tell you. I have heard from a number of people that the vertical distributor replaced the mag. I have no reason to doubt that they are right.
