Just brought home a 330u. Removed the radiator and sent it out to be soldered, evicted the mice from the grill, drained the black stuff from the engine(driveway sealer?), drained the milk from the hydraulic system, still have to get the mayonnaise out of the transmission. I am waiting for a manual, but I borrowed one for a 300, a lot of the stuff is similar. Anyway, the manual says SAE 10 nondetergent oil for the independent PTO housing, can I use HY-TRAN? Ther is an adapter from fast hitch to three point, looks like an arch with the fasthitch prongs on the front and a fork on the top for the toplink, does it use a special short toplink? Does this piece that I got with it? One short fork that swivels on a longer one that has a row of holes the length of it, and another that mates to it with a pin. The second piece looks like it should have a swivel on the end too, either it is missing, or you only use one. My third Question is, how heavily should I ballast this tractor? It has 12x28 tires with no calcium or wheel weights, and the former owner used chains all summer just for mowing and hauling a little trailer. One of his neighbors told me he got stuck a lot too, but some of that could have been a problem with the nut that holds the wheel. I will be using the tractor for general utility and haying work, and think it will be alright if I don't try to pull haywagons with it. I'm going to try it for a while without extra weight.
