Jim has it correct, behind the battery there are three linkages,one of these you will see isn't lined up with the other two,probably the left one if it is in 4th gear. align all three and this will put it back in neutral,pry gentally and if you can have someone hold it the clutch. your linkages and pins are getting worn,usually not a problem in tranny.
