changing WF pivot pin

I noticed that my 656's wide front is a bit sloppy and traced it to the pin that the entire front axle pivots on. It seems that there are bushings around the pin that are pretty worn.

Once I get the pin out and drop the front axle, how difficult is it going to be to remove the remnants of the bushings and then get the new ones pressed in?

Also, could the pin be worn too? I checked with the dealer and a new pin is $200, so it's probably hardened. Could I have someone make me one instead if needed?
