574 spiting black oil from muffler

My 574 is spiting black oily and carbon from the
exhust after i rev the engine to get the alt to excite. this black ozzz leak out of the muffler where it conects to the exhaust pipe. And runs down the exhaust manfold.
Anyone have a clue what this is?
Other than that engine runs great.
