The early ones had F&H round spoke wheels, or flat spoke steel wheels, which were often cut off and had rubber tire rims welded on. NOt sure when, but appearantly 38 they changed to cast iron wheels with demountable rims. MOst of them on the f12 seem to be 40 inch. the round spokes were usually 36 inch, but I had a set of 40 inch. The F14 also had the cast iron wheels with demountable rims. My 38 F20N has iron wheels and demountable rims also, so maybe 38 was the year of the change.
