It'll be a lot easier to just pull the head and have the shop do the valve job. That, plus the fact they should Magnaflux the head to check for cracks. These engines are prone to cracking in the combustion chamber area if overheated.
Don't ask me how I know this!
Take great care when you remove the manifold, the studs are easily twisted off.
