Overhauled Zenith carb on my '45 "A" last year. Bought the first kit from a well known generic "tractor" store but before using it, happened to be in a Case-IH dealer and asked to see the kit. It was so much better quality that I bought and used it. Gasket better formed, parts machined better, etc. As I was rebuilding the carb, I was comparing replacement parts side by side from the two kits. No question as to quality, but of course the price was almost double. Even then, I had to trim the inside of the gasket to keep from interfering with the float. Still, this isn't something you do every day, so $50 isn't too bad compared to $28 or so. IMHO.
