The aftermarket kits seem to work as well as the OEM kits. It has been a few years since I purchased an aftermarket kit from a Case-IH dealer but the price was about 1/2 of the OEM kit. The price was around 22 to $25 for the "M thru 450" carb kit. The kit does not include the float, which is a separate item, but includes float needle and seat, gaskets, seals and some plugs.
