In my neck of the woods, the A is more rare and definately commands a higher price. Bs are fairly common. I think the opposite is true in other parts of the country. Also, the A is a favorite of the small acreage suburban types. Since the A and B have the same engine, the A configuration makes the difference. Folks seem to prefer the A for belly mower work. Bottom line - I would choose the A for resale value, but both are great tractors and worthy of restoration.
