Stan, we bought a 584 in 1985 for $15900 Canadian and that was their new price tag. We have only 800 hours on this tractor and I have been offered$12000 Canadian for it but am not interested in selling it.This tractor will start at -27 without ether or being plugged in. I use it all winter to blow snow with a 7'single auger blower. It cuts 10acres of hay every summer and bales as well. It doesn't get a lot of work but you can count on it to go summer or winter and it is kept shedded and still looks great. Other 584's in our parts still go for $7-8000 in good condition.
