While taking apart and cleaning up the intake manifold off of my 450D today I noticed that the front endcover has no place for the wire from the coil or the wire from the ing switch like what is shown in my 400D parts book(I assume the 400D and 450D manifolds are the same?). The front and back covers are the exact same. When I took them off, the back cover was full of motoroil, should it have oil in it? The front cover does contain some type of a switch, but there is no way for any wires to be hooked up to it. Anyone know why its like this? Thanks.
