Two things. 1. Go to the auto parts store and buy one of those syphon pump things and use it to syphon the transmission fluid out of the cylinders. Transmission fluid will never work. Then get yourself something good like Kroil, PB Blaster, or Gibbasize to fill up the cylinders and let it soak for a while. If it does not come loose soon, you can pull the head and get more serious with it. Maybe you can get it running without pulling the head. 2. On the TA, it seems like I have heard of TAs being removed and going to direct drive. I would not reccomend this. If you go through the process of splitting the 300, go ahead and replace the TA. A rebuilt unit costs about $400. You should also replace the engine clutch and TA clutch if your that far into it.
