My Brother-in-law had a 2404 loader tractor years ago He bought used when He started farming. The side piece to the loader was in the way of the dipstick. After He had the tractor about 2-3 yrs, the dipstick finally broke when He was checking the oil. He pushed it in the shop, dropped the oil pan to fish the broken piece out. There were FOUR broken pieces Just like the piece that broke off in the pan! And this tractor was only about 15 yrs old!
