A large round bale should weigh 1600 lb or less. I have some kind of 3 pt hitch on my super M but it only has a single 3X8 cylinder. I tried to lift round bales and could not, just not enough hydrolics, I am in the process of adding a second cylinder to the hitch then I don't think it will be any problem. (I should have this done sometime next week) As for the 3 point hitch being able to handle the weight... I figure on mine I will lift, break, weld.. till the weakest links are fixed...good luck
