It depends on what year the tractor is. The IH logo was designed around '45 or '46 (I think). The earlier models had McCormick-Deering over FARMALL with no IH symbol. By '47 or '48 they would have McCormick-Deering over FARMALL with the IH to the left. Later they dropped Deering. It is not real clear when everything changed over since they probably used up stock on hand before using the new decals. I reccomend Guy Fay's "Originality Guide to Letter Series Farmalls". It spells out all this and many other things out with far more authority and detail than I ever could.
