This sounds like a classic case of fuel starvation, probably caused by particles from the tank entering the carb. A couple of suggestions... First, ensure your tank is clean and junk free...if your cap was off and tarp was off...who knows what is in there. Second, you need to make sure your filter screens are in place...one filtering fuel coming out of the tank at the sediment bowl, the other at the carb inlet...these filter out big particles that clog the carb jets. Clean these if they are there. Last, you may have to go back into the carb to clean it out again after you ensure steps 1 and 2 are complete. There is a possibility your condensor or coil have gone bad, but given the circumstances, AI would look over the WHOLE fuel system first... Good Luck...BB.
