Mark, I'm sure there is a thousand stories out there and you're right I cringe too when I hear "Wisconsin engine" You described them to a tee...they'd just quit for no reason and it was a dice toss you would get it started..maybe the next day it would start right up on the first crank. I 'm sure I'm not the only little boy who learned to swear around his farmer Dad or uncle or neighbour. It would be fun to hear some other stories about "Wisconsin engines"
