I'm ot 100 % sure but I thought the M had dry sleeves like the H. That means the sleeves are not in direct contact with the coolant in the water jacket. The sleeves are inside a bore that looks just about like the inside of the sleeve itself. I think soaking the top surface with penatrating oil and packing the cylinder with dry ice will probably get them out.
