I think the grease pipe you found is for the clutch release bearing, not the pilot bearing. If you have the Lift All out, you should be able to screw it back in pretty easy. The pilot bearing has a grease fitting, but it is located on the fly wheel. The parts book does not show a pipe associated with the pilot bearing. You have to turn the engine until the fitting appears at the hole in the very bottom of the clutch housing directly under the fly wheel. I think the flywheel is drilled to the center for lube of the pilot bearing with the grease fitting at the outer surface of the fly wheel. I believe the pipe you found should screw into the clutch release sleeve.
