As far as I know they didn't but that is just a speculation I have. I just never heard of one being noted to have a different geared transmission. My F-20 was originally on still and then had the cut off steal treatment with rims welded and tires added. I restored tractor and put the cast iron centers on along with the bolted on rims. I know the steal wheels were considerably shorter as well. It now has the 36" tires on. I know the history of this tractor but don't recall anyone telling the story of gearing the transmission different. I know they had an after market road gear that could be added. I know that when they put the tires on it gave the tractor a height change and something had to be done with the front end to level things out. I believe there was an extension that could be added to front end to level it up. Atleast I think thats what they did. Never done that switch over myself. Sorry that I don't have any real facts to back all this up but maybe someone will dig something up and add comments and we can both read them. If there was different geared transmissions I would like to know myself but I never heard of that variation.
