How much oil have you got in the Transmission?? Maybe it is overfilled. It should be filled up to the level plug that is located on the left front of the transmission. The plug is behind the left brake rod and you have to take the brake rod loose to get to it. The transmission capacity is 6 quarts. Are you sure there is not a seal?? I have a C, and the parts book for it shows a seal on the lever shaft. I think the C and the A PTO setup are very similar.
