Kurt: I have a 1944 H myself (#170309) and have wondered if "real" hydraulics could be made to work on it outside of using the transmission driven hydraulics it came with. I have been thinking on adding a 3 pt. hitch but have waited due to the stories I have heard about no down pressure and weak lifting ability on the H. I'll be interested to see what the forum experts have to tell you! Regards, Brett West

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
