Are those trees marketable? I had about 5 acres cleared last fall, and sold 5 loads of 16ft logs. That equated to $5000. The piece of land was also loaded with small lodgepole, mostly in the 4-5 inch range. I hired an excavator to come in an clear it. He did it in a day and a half, pulled out the lodgepoles like carrots, dug out all the stumps, and piled everything for burning. He charged $900 to do the work, and the damage was minimal. I went right in with a tiller on the back of the tractor and tilled it. (After my wife picked up most of the small stuff.). I'll plant it in hay this fall after I get the slash piles burned...
