Jerry , that old M will haul a lot of load with double wheel weights. I don't think $2000 is way out of line, maybe a few hundred high, but if the tractor runs good ,doesn't burn oil and the gears are all okay you might find it to be a cheap tractor five years from now. I have a 1939 M and the other day I was using it on a hay wagon..My friend drove the load up the gangway and into the barn and I watched,still amazed that he never touched the throttle and she idled up the gangway pulling a load without a blink...powerfull old brutes!..Good luck with your choice from Mike in Exeter Ontario.
