Thanks for the input. I still need to sharpen the sickle. I have tried a couple of swaths near the barn and it does want to skip over some of the downed hay. I think having a sharp sickle will help that some. The hay was pretty heavy to begin with. It should have been cut about two weeks ago, but the weather did not allow for that. I will let you know haow it all turns out.
