I just measured 9/16 using my carpentry rule on a new set of disks for a 560. That is the total thickness of the disk. Can't tell you if the 460 uses the same ones or not. The old ones still had grooves showing, but not much. Search the archives for the replies to my post on the 560 a week or so ago - as usual there were some good replies, particularly with ways to get more use out of them as the matching metal parts wear.
