Here's what I do on my Super M: I loosen the fan V pulley located on the water pump/fan assembly. This is done by loosening a set screw that allows me to loosen the half of the pulley closest to the fan. When this is unscrewed, I can turn that half of the pulley towards the fan, and that gives me enough slack in the fan belt to pull it off of the pulley attached to the crankshaft. The fan belt then slips over the fan itself. Next, I loosen the generator mounting screws and remove the generator belt. Remember to disconnect the ignition coil-to-distributor cable to be safe. Nothing else needs to come off.
