HI Bama, With the engine running and the clutch depressed, the engine does not bog down. Only when I let the clutch out. Even if the tractor is in the neutral position, it still bogs down when letting the clutch out. The tractor does not move at all. I do have the IT manual, but of course it doesn't give much 'hints' or 'tricks' when dealing with this. The manual says: "try to identify the problem before disassembling transmission to far". So I am hoping it may just be an easy fix. Obviously this tractor had done this numerous times before I got it. It wasn't locked up when I loaded/unloaded it, but when I was rebuilting the motor, I 'rocked' the tractor back and forth in every gear to check things, and now it is locked up. Thanks, look forward for more information.
