I have a 300 utility since new and it is a very useful tractor.The price you quoted is very high. The type of hitch you described is called a quick hitch...you can get 3pt adapter bars and use most 3 pt equip. If you buy this tractor make sure the owner gives you the adapters..he will most likely have them. Good Luck. RJ
