I've been using 15w40 in my H and it was doing ok, the oil pressure was slightly low so I changed it to 40 Wt oil (It's over 100 degrees here in Arizona this time of year). With the 40Wt oil my oil pressure is dangerously low and now it is smokeing bad... I guess I'll change it back to 15w 40.
As far a fouling plugs, it is possable you have some bad plug wires.
