Jon, One of three that I am trying to rebuild has the same problem. Until I find a way to remove the glass and not damage the needle or face, I do not know of a means the needle can be freed up. I understand a magnetic coupler under the face moves the needle. The needle may loosen with some penetrating oil and minor movement, if we can remove the glass. Hopefully, someone will be able to help us with this challenge.
